We link back to the original audio.

Gistful exists to help business readers decide what to listen to, search what has been said, and jump back to the source. It is not designed to replace podcasts or republish full episodes.

Effective May 19, 2026

1. Product posture

Gistful creates concise, structured briefs of selected business podcast episodes. A good brief should identify the argument, useful context, timestamps, tags, and whether the original episode is worth opening.

The product should push users toward the original audio when depth, tone, exact wording, or full context matters.

2. Attribution

Where practical, Gistful brief pages should include:

Podcast or show name.
Episode title and available episode metadata.
Timestamped references to relevant moments.
Links back to the original audio or podcast listing.
Clear labeling that third-party podcast content belongs to its owner.

3. What we try to avoid

Publishing full transcripts as a substitute for the original episode.
Using excessive excerpts where a short quote or paraphrase is enough.
Removing source context or making it hard to find the original audio.
Presenting summaries as official creator-approved materials unless they are.
Using podcast artwork or names in a way that implies endorsement.

4. Creator requests

If you are a creator, publisher, network, or rights holder and have a concern about how your show appears in Gistful, contact hello@gistful.co.

Please include:

Your name and role.
The show or episode URL.
The specific brief, quote, timestamp, artwork, or metadata at issue.
Whether you are requesting correction, attribution change, removal, or opt-out.

We will review requests and may correct metadata, update source links, remove brief pages, pause ingestion, or take other steps when appropriate.

5. Corrections

Briefs can contain mistakes. If a brief misstates a point, attributes a claim incorrectly, links to the wrong source, or uses inaccurate metadata, send details to hello@gistful.co.

6. DMCA and legal notices

Formal copyright or legal notices can be sent to hello@gistful.co. Include enough information for us to identify the material and understand the claimed issue.

This policy does not limit rights or remedies available under applicable law. It explains the product posture and the fastest way to reach us.
